Melina Kanakaredes to Produce and Star in New TV Series

Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakarades, the Greek-American star known for her former roles in “CSI: NY” and “Extant”, is now attached to star in a new TV drama called “Stolen for Good”.

The series centers on “Hermes Thief”, a legendary international thief whose true identity remains a mystery. Hermes is more of a Robin Hood figure than a criminal though, as her life is devoted to righting past wrongs and stealing back priceless items to return them to the original owners.

Kanakaredes plays the central role, and has teamed up with “Immortals” screenwriters Vlas and Charlie Parlapanides to co-write and executive produce the project as well.

Nancy Miller, the creator of “Saving Grace”, has also come aboard as an executive producer and showrunner.

With all the talent on board, and the backing of fast-rising indie production company Dynamic Television, the series seems to be promising for a potential long run.

Currently, Kanakaredes is also working on another film called “Wake” in the pre-production stage along with Mira Sorvino.
