Earlier this month, Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso joined fashion magazine Marie Claire as a contributing editor to their “@work” section.
It’s not the fashion maven’s first time sharing her experience with readers; Amoruso had written the book “#Girlboss”, in which she detailed her life, company and the challenges she overcame to get to where she is today.
One of the most important piece of advice she had to share with her readers is “you shouldn’t idolize anyone. And I’m telling you again, don’t idolize me. I don’t know sh*!. Neither do your parents.”
Her advice on the column is going to be mostly business related, although in Amoruso’s very first article she also got personal with readers, opening up about her own insecurities and struggles.
“The older I get, the less confident I become”, she revealed.
