If you didn’t get enough of Dave Bautista in the new James Bond movie “Spectre”, check out the trailer for his upcoming film “Kickboxer: Vengeance”, which just hit the Internet today.
The Greek-Filipino Bautista stars in the movie, and the cast includes other notable fighters and action stars such as MMA fighter Gina Carano and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Van Damme actually starred in the original “Kickboxer”, which premiered in 1989.
Not only does the star of the film boast Greek roots, but the writer of the movie, Dimitri Logothetis, is also Greek. Logothetis previously produced the TV series “Dark Realm” and “Code Name: Eternity”, for which he also wrote several of the episodes.
“Kickboxer: Vengeance” was shot in New Orleans and Thailand for a budget of $17 million. It was directed by John Stockwell, whose previous movies include “Seal Team Six”, “Into the Blue” and “Blue Crush”.
Bautista’s movie will be in a theater near you at some point in 2016.
