2016 Academy Award Nominations Announced; George Miller Nominated

The 2016 Oscar nominations have been announced, and so far the movie “The Revenant” seems to be leading the pack with a total of 12 nominations, including a nomination for Leonardo DiCaprio for Best Actor, and a nomination for Best Picture.

Greeks are also featured in this year’s nominations, as George Miller is being nominated for Best Director, and his movie “Mad Max: Fury Road” is one of the nominees for Best Picture. The movie received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

The 88th Academy Awards will take place on February 28, 2016 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. A list of full nominations is below:
