Zach Galifianakis has lined up a new movie this year, as he will be starring in the astronaut comedy “The Something” along with comedians Seth Rogen and Bill Hader.
Not much is known about the movie, as the producers and studio want to keep the plot and story surprises under wraps. All we know is that the story follows an all-male space crew that has been stranded in space for years until they finally come across another ship. What they find on the ship is a mystery, for now.
The script was written by Rodney Rothmans, who also wrote the recent “21 Jump Street” remake, and will be in the director’s chair for the first time with this movie.
Galifianakis has been getting plenty of work recently, as he now has his show “Baskets” out on FX, and will be playing the voice of the Joker in the new “Lego Batman” movie.
