Elli Avram, the Greek-Swedish actress and model who has had a flourishing career in India over the last few years, is the new face of the “Being Human” clothing campaign along with Indian actor Salman Kahn, who created the clothing line as a personal project.
The Being Human spring and summer collection has vibrant, fresh colors aimed towards young men and women, but the clothing line is about more than just fashion.
Avram commented “I’m happy to be a part of this Spring Summer campaign because Being Human isn’t a regular clothing brand. It’s a brand with a cause.”
All royalties from clothing sales support the Being Human Foundation, which supports education and healthcare in the region. Actor Kahn, who is quite famous in India and founded Being Human, was on board with getting Avram involved with the project, since she is both a personal friend and an ex-contestant on Bigg Boss, the show that he hosts.
Elli Avram was picked for the shoot because “she’s young, has a great sense of style and has a strong connect with the youth.”
It’s always great to see stars like Avram using their image and fame to promote charitable brands and benevolent causes. Elli Avram is currently busy with her acting career as well, as she is filming Housefull 3.
