Michael Chiklis can be seen in the highly-anticipated new trailer for “Gotham” season 4, which will premiere on September 21 on FOX.
The trailer was released in Comic Con to an overwhelmingly positive reaction by audiences, and at over five minutes long, it gives quite a huge glimpse into what the series has in store for the next season.
The dark and gritty “Gotham” is the origin story for Batman, and shows how Bruce Wayne as a teen rises to become Gotham’s reluctant savior against the criminals and dark elements that terrorize the city.
The Riddler, the Scarecrow and the Joker both make an appearance in the trailer, as well as several other prominent characters from Batman mythology.
Michael Chiklis plays Nathaniel Barnes, a former Marine and Captain of Gotham City Police Department whose ark on the show has made him into a villain known as The Executioner, who is now locked in Arkham Asylum.
