Dave Bautista just signed up to star in a new 20th Century Fox action comedy film called “Stuber”, in which he plays a determined detective who gets an unsuspecting Uber driver named Stu involved in a chaotic series of events.
The film will be directed by the man behind “Goon”, Michael Dowse. The concept of “Stuber” was developed by Tripper Clancy, Jonathan Goldstein, and John Francis Daley, the latter two being responsible for the wildly successful movie “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.
Ever since his appearance in “Guardians of the Galaxy”, former WWE star Bautista has been cast in movie after movie, from indie to big budget. His latest role was in the blockbuster “Blade Runner 2049”, and he will soon be seen in Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Hotel Artemis”.
