Jennifer Aniston has signed up to play the first lesbian President of the United States alongside Tig Notaro, who will play her partner, for a new Netflix comedy series.
The concept for “First Ladies” was created by Notaro, who will write the screenplay along with her wife, Stephanie Allynne. Notaro already has a working relationship with the streaming service, as they will be airing her upcoming special.
Most recently, Amazon aired her semi-autobiographical series “One Mississippi”.
Aniston seems to be embracing Netflix projects, as she has also signed on to star in the Adam Sandler Netflix comedy, “Murder Mystery”.
The former “Friends” star is also part of a project with Reese Witherspoon for Apple TV, about which not many details have been revealed.
