Jamie-Lynn Sigler has just landed a starring role in a new horror film called “Hunting Season”.
The Greek-American actress, who is best known for playing Meadow Soprano on the hit show “The Sopranos”, will be portraying a savvy social worker named Abby in the new movie. Megan Freels Johnston is directing the film, while “Knight Rider” actress Deanna Russo and “Firefly” actor Sean Maher will co-star along with Sigler.
The story follows Abby as she tries to track down her friend Piper (Russo), who after going on a weekend getaway with her boyfriend (Maher), disappears. It turns out she is being hunted by her boyfriend’s father, portrayed by “Insidious” star Bruce Davison.
Sigler must find and rescue her friend from this twisted hunting game before it is too late.
“Hunting Season” will start shooting in the fall of 2018; there is no scheduled release date as of yet.
