Tonia Sotiropoulou Wins Best Actress at LA Film Festival

Tonia Sotiropoulou is a 31-year-old Greek Cypriot actress who currently lives in the United Kingdom. She became globally known after her participation in ”Skyfall”, the 2012 James Bond film.

On Friday, Sotiropoulou was informed that she won the award for ”Best Actress in an Indie film” at the Los Angeles Film Awards for her work in the film “Everything is Wonderful”. Her recent participation in the film ”Waiting Room” has also been lauded by movie critics throughout the world.

”Waiting Room” is the story of five people who wake up in an abandoned warehouse. None of them remembers anything about who they are or how they got there. They all must remember, and then find a way to get out of the warehouse before it is too late.

The film has already won six other awards, three from the Independent Horror Movie Awards, one at the Indie Suspense Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival, one at the London Greek Film Festival and another at the Indie Suspense Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival.
