Did you know Jennifer Aniston can sing? The former “Friends” star can be heard on the background vocals for the movie “Dumplin'”, on Dolly Parton’s song “Push and Pul”.
Aniston is one of the producers of the movie, and also played a part in the movie whose main character is a huge Dolly Parton fan. Aniston naturally wanted to hire Parton to write many of the songs on the movie’s soundtrack.
“Dumplin'” centers around a teenager (played by Danielle Macdonald) who signs up for her former beauty queen mom’s (Aniston) pageant. The “Dumplin'” soundtrack will be released on November 30, and available for pre-order on November 2.
This is not Aniston’s first time showing off her vocals. She also sang in the films “Cake” and “Rock Star”.
The initial release of “Dumplin'” on Netflix is scheduled for December 7, 2018. It seems to be part of Aniston’s new and ongoing collaboration with Netflix since she is starring in at least two other releases, “Murder Mystery” and “First Ladies”.
