Jennifer Aniston on Set of New Apple Series With Steve Carell

Just a few days before Apple is set to unveil its new streaming service, photos surfaced of Jennifer Aniston on set with Steve Carell for the Apple series “The Morning Show.”

The tech giant has decided to step into the streaming world, along with Disney, as a new source of competition for companies like Netflix and Hulu.

Aniston and Carell are both legends in the TV comedy world thanks to their iconic characters on long-running shows “Friends” and “The Office”. They previously co-starred in the Jim Carrey comedy “Bruce Almighty.”

In addition to starring in the series, Aniston is also executive producing “The Morning Show.” Reese Witherspoon will also be starring alongside her.

Rumor has it that Aniston is being paid $1.25 million per episode. The stars have already shot the first season of “The Morning Show,” and apparently even before the series premiere, a second season has already been ordered.

The series is loosely based on CNN Correspondent Brian Stelter’s book “Top of the Morning.” Carrell stars as a morning show anchor who is having trouble adjusting to an ever-evolving and modernizing media landscape.

Details are fuzzy on the exact launch date for Apple’s streaming service, with some pegging it as early as April, while others say it won’t be available until fall of 2019. However, Apple is preparing a special event and presentation in Cupertino, California, on March 25 which will devote most of its time to the new streaming service.

Are you going to be tuning into Apple’s streaming service?
