Talented actress, singer, and songwriter Rita Wilson will soon be adding radio host to her impressive list of accomplishments, as she is set to host a new SiriusXM radio show titled “The Spark”.
SiriusXM has been developing plenty of content to be produced out of its new LA studios. Wilson’s monthly one-hour show will be one of the new additions to the line-up.
Wilson will have a rotating cast of singers, music producers, managers, and other artists as guests. “The Spark” will focus on their love of music, how the creative process works for them, and how music gets made and shared in today’s world from start to finish.
Rita has always been fascinated and moved by the topic of music, releasing albums like “Halfway to Home” and performing intimate and emotional concerts around the world.
Regarding “The Spark”, she said, “music has always been a way for me to get insight into the human condition, be transported by the power of storytelling, to connect emotionally, whether that’s for a good cry, or to get on the dance floor. Music transports people. How many times have you bonded with someone over loving a song and what it means to you? That’s The Spark. Sparking conversation, curiosity, and creativity, and I’m excited to bring this to SiriusXM Volume.”
The show is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 PM on the Volume channel (106).
