Two Greek-Americans were at the table of “Good Morning America” on October 28, as Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon joined George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts to promote their new Apple TV series, “The Morning Show”.
Aniston and Witherspoon previously played sisters on the hit sitcom “Friends”. It’s appropriate that they appeared on one of the most well-known US morning shows to promote their series.
Aniston spoke a little about the research the duo had to do on what happens behind the scenes on morning shows, and how hectic they realized that environment can be. Witherspoon and Aniston are also executive producers on “The Morning Show” and helped bring the project to life.
Steve Carrell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Karen Pittmann, and a host of other talented actors round out the cast.
Stephanopoulos pointed out that both actresses visited the set of “Good Morning America” months ago to get a better sense of the morning show environment.
The new series is one of the most anticipated shows of Apple’s new streaming service. It premieres on November 1.
