After ringing in New Year’s Eve 2018 with a live TV wedding to long-time boyfriend Keven Underwood, Maria Menounos has been picked to co-host the FOX New Years’ Eve Special for 2019 alongside Steve Harvey.

Former NFL player Rob Gronkowski will also be hosting the ceremony in the final hours of the year. Musical guests include LL Cool J, The Chainsmokers, The Killers, The Lumineers, and The Backstreet Boys.

Audiences will experience a real throwback moment as The Village People are expected to perform, with the goal of setting a world record for the largest “YMCA” dance ever.

Menounos will be reporting live from Times Square, and will be helping other celebrity guests work their way through the program, including Gordon Ramsay, Will Arnett, and Jenna Dewan. Since she has hosted the New Year’s Eve special at least twice before, Menounos is the perfect choice to keep the program fun, energetic, and running smoothly.

“FOX New Year’s Eve With Steve Harvey: Live From Times Square” will premiere at 8 PM Eastern time on FOX, with a time-delayed broadcast for Central and Pacific time zones.
