New reviews say that Greek-American actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler “steals the show” in a new Lifetime Channel thriller titled “The Neighbor in the Window.”

The former “Sopranos” lead is starring in a new film as a realtor in Seattle living an idyllic life with her engineer husband and six-year-old child. However, things take a horrifying turn when the couple moves into a new house and Sigler’s character, Karen Morgan, attracts the attention of a creepy neighbor.

The neighbor, “Lisa,” played by Jenn Lyon, becomes obsessed with Sigler and begins following her and copying everything she does.

Sigler’s character eventually starts losing her grip on reality as a result of her neighbor’s insane behavior.

The scariest part about the movie is the fact that it is actually based on a true story, captured in the book “False Victim” by Kathie Truitt. Truitt herself was stalked by a crazy neighbor for four years, who she felt threatened her family’s welfare and life.

Tune in to Lifetime to see Sigler’s latest role in “The Neighbor in the Window.”
