Jason Mantzoukas is back as his beloved character, the unstable detective Adrian Pimento, on the hit show “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”.
The episode actually centers around Mantzoukas’ character, as it’s titled “Pimemento”, a play on the name of the movie “Memento.” Referencing the main character of the movie, Mantzoukas’ character shows up suffering from short-term memory loss, and sure that someone wants to kill him. However, he can’t remember who it might be.
Mantzoukas’ over-the-top character has been beloved by the sitcom’s audience since he appeared in his first episode, appropriately titled “Adrian Pimento” in Season 3. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is now in its seventh season, and stars Andy Samberg, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, and Stephanie Beatriz.
The “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” episode featuring Mantzoukas premiered on Thursday night, February 13 at 8:30 PM on NBC.
