John Stamos Teams Up With Beach Boys’ Mike Love on Song for Pandemic Relief

John Stamos has teamed up with Mike Love, the co-founder of the Beach Boys, to release a new song and music video titled “This Too Shall Pass”.

The song, who’s title is a well-known saying for hard times, focuses on staying positive and trying to get on with life during the pandemic currently sweeping the world.

When asked about the motivation behind the song, Love commented, “A lifetime of performing to millions of people all over the world and suddenly everything came to a halt. I’ve lived through enough good times and bad to know that eventually, this too shall pass, and better days are yet to come.”

Stamos is on the drums for “This Too Shall Pass”. Though he has shown off his musical skills before, in productions like “The Little Mermaid Live”, few people known Stamos is also a percussionist and guitarist. In fact, he has frequently collaborated with The Beach Boys, playing drums on stage with them several times.

Considering Stamos admits the first live rock concert he ever saw was a performance by The Beach Boys, this musical collaboration made him especially happy.

All proceeds from “This Too Shall Pass” go to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund, to help fund and supply food banks assisting families affected financially by the pandemic.
