The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) will offer a free virtual screening of the film “Apples” on January 17.

Directed by Christos Nikou, “Apples” has already won several awards and great reviews. The film will represent Greece for the Oscars’ “Best International Film” category.

The top nominees within the category have not yet been selected, as this year’s Oscars ceremony will be delayed due to the COVID pandemic.

Appropriately set in a worldwide pandemic, “Apples” follows the journey of a middle-aged man named Aris. The disease in the movie causes sudden amnesia in people. All those who don’t get claimed by loved ones must find a way to rebuild their identity.

To watch the film via LAGFF, simply go to the website www.lagff.org and click on the “Apples” image. You can easily get your $0 screening.

The film will be available on the site for 24 hours starting Sunday, January 17, at 11 AM PST.
